In August 2025, Hyderabad-based Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML) announced its acquisition of a 76% controlling stake in Guwahati’s Pratiksha Hospital, valued at ₹171 crore. This all-cash transaction was fully funded via RCML’s reserves and internal accruals, expanding their network into Assam and the broader Northeast, and adding 150 beds to a national portfolio totaling 2,185 beds across 21 hospitals in eight cities[1][2][3][4][5].
