Kailash Joshi has been appointed as Executive Director – Analytics, Insights & Decision Enablement (US) at Novartis, as part of the Novartis Global Capability Center in Hyderabad.

With extensive experience across commercial excellence, analytics, insights, AI-driven decision-making, and healthcare strategy, Kailash brings a strong track record of enabling organizations to leverage data and technology to drive better business outcomes.

In his new role, he will lead a team of professionals and subject matter experts within the Novartis US Analytics, Insights & Decision Enablement organization. His focus will be on harnessing the power of analytics, insights, and emerging technologies to transform data into actionable intelligence and support strategic decision-making.

Kailash returns to Novartis with a wealth of experience in commercial strategy and healthcare transformation. His leadership journey includes driving initiatives across commercial excellence, customer engagement, business intelligence, omnichannel strategy, and capability building.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Global Head – Commercial Excellence, Learning & Development and Corporate Communications at Healthium Medtech, where he was responsible for advancing commercial effectiveness, marketing excellence, talent development, and enterprise communication initiatives.

He has also held leadership roles at GSK, including Senior Director – Strategic Insights and Senior Director – Customer Engagement and Business Intelligence for Global Emerging Markets, where he worked on data-driven strategies across multiple markets.

With his expertise at the intersection of analytics, technology, and healthcare, Kailash will contribute to Novartis’ continued focus on innovation, insights-led decision-making, and improving outcomes for patients.
