Anand Shetty Appointed CEO – Emerging Markets at Cadila Pharmaceuticals

Cadila Pharmaceuticals has appointed Anand Shetty as Chief Executive Officer – Emerging Markets, with responsibility for its branded formulations business across India, Africa, Russia and Southeast Asia.

Shetty brings more than three decades of pharmaceutical industry experience, including over 23 years with Novo Nordisk, where he held several senior commercial and leadership positions across India and international markets. His appointment brings extensive experience in business development, market expansion and commercial leadership to Cadila Pharmaceuticals as it looks to strengthen its presence across key emerging markets.

During his long tenure at Novo Nordisk, Shetty progressed through a series of leadership roles, culminating in his position as Corporate Vice President, responsible for the Southeast Asian markets. His earlier assignments included Vice President and General Manager roles in Indonesia and Bangladesh, as well as leadership responsibilities in India across sales and marketing.
