I began my career as a Medical Rep with Lupin immediately after my graduation in my hometown Visakhapatnam. Soon, the MNC bug bit me and I had opportunity to join the erstwhile Ciba-Geigy, which eventually became today’s Novartis. After spending a good amount time at Ciba-Geigy, my desire to try something new and get out of the comfort zone drew me to an opportunity with National Dairy Development Board (IIL – An Animal Health Company) and relocated to Delhi. I was responsible for sales in the Northern Region, in addition to administrative work with DCGI & Ministry of External Affairs (for exports). I regard this as the best period of learning and exposure.
