Samit Mehta has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Samit Mehta brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership, business development, research and development, and strategic growth initiatives. In addition to his new role as COO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, he also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director on the Board of Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Ltd.

Over the years, Samit has played a significant role in strengthening Emcure’s presence across regulated markets, including the USA, Europe, and Canada. During his tenure as President – Research & Development at Emcure, he contributed to building a differentiated and diversified product portfolio through technology-driven innovation and strategic project execution.

He has been closely involved in advancing new product launches across high-growth therapeutic areas and enabling the organization’s expansion into emerging platforms. His leadership has supported Emcure’s focus on innovation, portfolio enhancement, and global market growth.
